One of our most popular wind sculpture designs is the Double Spinner. It rotates on three sealed bearings which creates movement in three directions. The main body of the sculpture moves in the direction of the wind, like a weather vane, while the fronds spin in opposite directions. Another popular design is the Tulip wind sculpture. Both elegant and timeless. The Queen of Denmark owns one, and even asked that Lyman Whitaker come and personally install it in her private garden.
Lyman’s first design was the Double Helix Horizontal wind sculpture. It is shown in the photo above with the Double Spinner and the Nautilus. We sent this grouping to our client in Australia and they loved the result. The ocean view doesn’t hurt either.
