We’ve been installing Lyman’s Wind Sculptures all over California, and all over the country, since 2009. Not only do we have great clients in Napa, but also Sonoma, Petaluma, San Francisco, Oakland, Sausalito, Palo Alto, Big Sur, Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, Bel Aire, Laguna Beach, Manhattan Beach, La Jolla, San Diego, and dozens of other towns on the West Coast. If it’s one of our big projects we always journey out to help with the installation–but that also applies with art installations in New York, Florida and Seattle.
The focus on artistry, engineering and durability at the Whitaker Studio is nearly unparalleled in the kinetic world. Not only do Lyman’s sculptures last for decades, but we know from experience that they’ve been handed down in many families. That’s a terrific honor, knowing you’re placing works that will be in various families for decades–but that was Lyman’s intent all along.
